This is a review of the restaurant and bar. Ive eaten here dozens of times and enjoyed some brilliant meals. Occasionally the food disappoints, but its usually good or excellent. Super friendly staff, good service and a great range of ales. Try their cheesy chips!Its one of the more expensive venues in town and over the years some offers (especially breakfast), have become less price/competitive. For example, breakfast used to come bundled with coffee, a rack of toast and preserves. While the food tastes excellent, these are now optional extras, making what is already the most expensive breakfast in Biggleswade a real luxury. Note the breakfast menus have recently been updated to make it clear that substitutions are not permitted!
We were here for breakfast but it all seemed a bit confused - the staff thought we were guests but when we told them we weren't they didn't seem to know what to do! Once we were seated the waitress took some time to bring our food, but it was all good from there. The food was good and we all enjoyed our breakfast
This is to express how pleased we are for the amazing job you guys have done to ensure that our Christmas function was an absolute hit! Every one of your team from Management, the Chef, waitresses and the bar staff deserve a HUGE PAT on the Back! Please would you pass on our compliments to the Chef, every morsel of food was absolutely faultless. The rest of the team we amazing, from the smiling, efficient waitress and the bar staff who ensured that the drinks vouchers were managed correctly.
Xmas Dinner with work colleagues. Had the roast lamb, served with seasonal veg roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding. Treacle sponge and custard for dessert. All done to perfection. A few of us were late due to a mix up with taxi but the waiter for us kept our dinners hot till we got there, which was very good of him as the kitchen there was due to shut. Lovely clean modern decor
Nice and tasty Sunday pub roast. Took a while for our meal to arrive but staff were very attentive. We'll definitely go back!
