Built the Loungers Bar next to this pub. Dave the Bar man of Irish descent. Was a descent chap.
Used to be my favourite pub in town a while ago but it's just not quite the same. It's lost its alehouse soul, the beer and spirits selection seems worse than before. Phoned to ask if can bring a dog with, was told no as they are extremely busy. Fair enough as it was a Friday night but turned up and the pub was empty.
Love this pub. Friendly bar staff. Great glass of red or white wine. Fairly small so feels cosy.Would recommend a visit
