A very good place for nails an nuts &Bolts.
I've only just come across this store and have tried ringing to ask if they stock a certain type of hook (to a. save a drive b. avoid going to one of those faceless places). The phone just rings and rings. Clearly they don't like people calling them so why advertise a phone number?! disappointing.
Huge range of items. Parking at rear. Expert advice on hand. Willing to sell down to that single missing screw or washer. Be prepared to pay top price though

One of those long-standing independent hardware stores that are so much better for getting advice than the megastores of Homebase, B&Q etc.Lot's of interesting bits crammed all into a tiny shop but the shopkeeper will point out where the things you need are.I went in to get a special type of washer. He had it in stock but charged me 1 which I feel is a bit overpriced for a bit of metal, still, better than having to pay 3 for a whole bag of them that I didn't need.Warning, the shop closes for lunch everyday between 1-2pm
