Stopped here on a 100km cycle ride and this place had exactly what I needed. Scummy cake and sausage bap. Staff were super friendly and more than happy to fill a water bottle. Great place!
I met a few friends here for the afternoon tea on a Sunday and it was absolutely brilliant. The home-made cakes were really lovely and the tea room had a lovely atmosphere. It was very busy but we felt well looked after!
Great venue especially when sunny in gardern. Breakfast bap and cookie dough cAke was superb, loads of flavours.
Very disappointed with our experience of this tearoom and would certainly not recommended it to anyone else.We were told that it was fully booked and that the only table available was in the corner by the door and hemmed in one side by the cake cabinet. Shortly after we arrived, two gents appeared who had not previously made a booking and were then offered the choice of any table in the tearoom!!! My brother and I were speachless not believing what we had witnessed.
It's always a treat to go somewhere and be served instead of having to stand in a long queue. The service was welcoming and friendly even though there was a hoard of cyclists from all over the area. The drinks were hot and the food came promptly.
